Integration Management

One way to look at the integration management processes is projecting them onto the PDCA cycle.

Above is a diagram carrying out this exersize.

The inputs and output become easier to follow. Some of the key features are:

• Work performance data comes out of the Do part of the cycle
• Forecasts come out of the Check part
• Requested changes typically start their life with the green arrow as a result of results which are not inline with the plan or in the Integrated change control as an external input.

What is maybe a bit fuzzy is the way quality control is handled in coordination with Integrated change management.
